Treatment Purpose:
Indulge in a rejuvenating 60-minute session that features a hydrating exfoliation treatment utilizing MD Lactic Acid Peel. This specialized treatment aims to brighten the skin tone, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, enhance elasticity, clarify skin texture, and provide deep hydration and moisturization. The meticulous combination of intensive cleansing and chemical exfoliation, paired with therapeutic anti-aging serums, results in a radiant and super-smooth complexion.
Indications:
Ideal for most skin types that have experience with AHAs in home care. Perfect for clients seeking to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and improve overall skin hydration.
Contraindications:
The Advanced Lumin Essence Treatment is not recommended for clients with excessive sun exposure, regardless of SPF use. Avoid use on irritated or sensitive skin, sunburned skin, or open lesions. Not suitable for clients with aggressive acne conditions, acne rosacea, or known sensitivity to lactic or salicylic acid. A patch test is required, and clients must use an AHA homecare product for at least two weeks before the professional lactic peel.
Treatment Steps:

Makeup Removal: Begin by gently removing eye makeup with Pure Glow Aloe & Cucumber Makeup Remover and Herbal Eye Makeup Remover on a cotton pad. Preheat the facial steamer.

Cleansing: Cleanse the face, neck, shoulders, and décolleté using Lumin Active RX Cleanser, warmed between palms before application. Thoroughly remove with warm wet wash.

Toning: Tone the face with Lumin Active Rx Toner applied to cotton pads.

Peel Preparation: Apply a small amount of MD PrePeel Solution face and neck on a cotton pad. Allow it to dry thoroughly.

MD Lactic Acid Peel Application: Before applying MD Lactic Acid Peel, inform the client of possible tingling or mild stinging. Apply using long-handled cotton swabs, starting on the forehead, moving around the face, and avoiding the immediate eye area or active acne lesions. Allow the solution to remain for 2-3 minutes.

Neutralization: Apply MD Peel Neutralizer using a cotton pad in the same pattern as the Pro Lactic Peel application. Follow with a sponges and cool water to ensure complete removal.

Pressure Point Massage: Perform a pressure point massage using 2 to 3 drops of Mushroom Bio Complex Elixir on the forehead, eye contours, cheeks, chin, and neck. Do not remove the serum.

Add Lumin Activ RX Toner or distilled water to your hands, then gently apply it to the client's skin in smooth movements. Do not remove the serum.

Luxy Glow Peel: Apply a thin layer of Luxy Glow Peel onto the face and neck. Leave on for 5 minutes and remove with damp sponges or a towel.

Serum and Mask: Apply 2 pumps of Mushroom Bio Complex Elixir to the face and neck, followed by a layer of Botanica Collagen Mask. Apply light steam and leave on for 10 minutes.

During the first 5 minutes of the mask application, provide a neck and shoulder massage. Utilize the remaining time to prepare a homecare recommendation sheet. Gently eliminate the mask using damp sponges, ensuring thorough removal, especially around the hairline and jawline. Follow up by using Active Rx Toner on the face and neck to guarantee complete cleansing.

Massage 3-4 drops of Luminous Peptide Serum (or, for sensitive skin, SensiPeptide Hydration Serum) into the face and neck.

Apply Eye Restoration Complex sparingly around the eye contours, avoiding direct contact with the eyes.

Caution the client against sun exposure, excessive heat, or sweating post-treatment. If heading outdoors, advise the use of SPF 30 either in addition to or in place of the finishing crème.
